We recently had a chance to talk with Chaske about photography and 'Be The Shift'.Find out what he had to say!
Can you talk to us about 'Be The Shift' and how our readers can help?
The best way to support "Be The Shift" is to take on a project in your community. You can go to www.unitedglobalshift.com/to find out more.
The photo exhibit was a success. When did you decide to share your art?
Sometime this year I decided that I would finally do a show.
Will there be another exhibit?
There will, for sure, be another one. It may be in the fall.
I read you had over 5000 pictures. Would you consider making a book?
That's a great idea. Why not?
You prefer natural light as opposed to studio. Any specific reason?
Natural light is more impromptu and allows me to shoot what I see at a moment's notice, as opposed to taking the time to set up a shot.
Can you describe your work?
I actually prefer to let others describe it. I just take the photos and hope that they speak to people.
Do you have any favorite subjects?
I have many, but nothing really specific. I love that it is so malleable.
How does inspiration strike you?
Again, it is really spontaneous and random, which keeps me living in a space of wonder.
Other than 'Be The Shift', would you consider selling your art for charity?
Sure, I would.
Do you have any messages for our readers?
Thank you, Chaske for taking the time to answer out questions. We're looking forward to see more of your work.Thank you so much for all of your support and I encourage you to find something you love and to use it to make a difference.
