The Top 12 Quotes From Vanity Fair That Make Already-Adored Robert Pattinson More Adorable

Last week we thought our lil’ Twi-hearts had swelled to full capacity when word got out that Rob Pattinson adopted a stray dog and today his cover story in the April issue of Vanity Fair has knocked us flat on our Rob-lovin’ rumps. In the lengthy interview, accompanied by a Water For Elephants-inspired shoot that we must say is far less loin-tingling than Bruce Weber’s 2009 spread, the ever self-deprecating Rob dishes on everything from Charlie Sheen to Cops to a Pretzel M&M addiction.

Here are a dozen quotes that made our love for Rob swerve dangerously close to obsession.

12. “She was the best actor I ever worked with in my life,” Pattinson says of Tai, his Indian-elephant co-star, who lives in Southern California, where [Water For Elephants] was mostly shot. “I cried when the elephant was wrapped,” or filmed her last scene, says Pattinson. “I never cried when anyone else was wrapped.”

11. “No one recognized me or anything,” he says [referring to Lubbock, TX]. “And I was like, Ah, this is really cool, sitting there eating chicken wings and stuff.”

10. On whether he’d delve into something completely different like Shakespeare… “If I did that now I’d get assassinated,” he says with a rueful laugh. “Everyone would just be like, What the f—?”

9. “He has that thing; he’s magnetic. He’s a real movie star. He reminds me of James Dean.” – Water for Elephants director, Francis Lawrence

8. He admits he doesn’t “do anything, ever”– meaning anything scandalous–although he confesses a certain admiration for Charlie Sheen and his “little escapades.” “I like crazy people who don’t give a f—,” he says.

7. “I get a lot of people wanting to beat me up. Men in bars and stuff. I just leave.” He shrugs.

6. “Are you asking me if I’m really a vampire?,” Pattinson says, laughing, when I join the nosy chorus, asking if his on-screen love mirrors his relationship [with Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart] in real life. As I wait for an answer, Pattinson literally starts squirming. “Yes. Um. No, not really,” he says.

'Two and a Half Men' has a surprising fan -- Robert Pattinson

Over the course of the past week, Charlie Sheen's "Two and a Half Men" has been the target of more negativity than pretty much any show on TV.

Creator Chuck Lorre has canceled the remainder of the season due to the star's antics, there is drama related to compensation for the crew, and it's still unknown as to whether or not the show will ever see the light of day again.

However, the can at least have this for solace -- the show is one of Robert Pattinson's favorite things to watch when he wants to pass the time. Speaking to Vanity Fair, the "Twilight" actor explained that reruns of the show are really just part of his regular routine:

“I’m just so boring… I never change the channel in my trailer.
“I just watch reruns of ‘House of Payne’ and ‘Two and a Half Men.’ I love ‘Cops’ – I think it’s my favorite TV show. God… I sound like such a loser.”

JD Pardo is Nahuel in Twilight Breaking Dawn

Get ready for your Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn update, because here it comes! Of course part one of the final chapter of the supernatural romance is not hitting a theater near you until this coming November, that’s why we at BSC feed you doses of production news to keep you satisfied until then.

In a recent story we warned you that actor JD Pardo was circling a part in Breaking Dawn. Now the TwilightLexicon delivers the news that Summit Entertainment has confirmed the actor in the role of Nahuel.

Nehuel will become a very key character in the saga. Readers of the novels will recall that a hunt ensues to confirm Renesmee is not the only human/ vampire hybrid around. The search turns up a hit in Chile. In Nehuel’s backstory, his human mother died in child birth, reminding readers that carrying a hybrid to term in a dangerous proposition indeed.

Update on K-11

"London-based sales and financing house Intandem Films has pacted with L.A. shingle Libertine Films to handle international sales on edgy drama "K-11." Directed and written by first-time feature helmer Jules Stewart, the pic is a dark and complex character ensemble set in a special unit of L.A. County's Men's Central Jail dedicated to vulnerable prisoners. Jules Stewart is the mother of thesp Kristen Stewart, and although press reports have linked the actress with the project, Intandem would not comment, but said casting was now on fast-track.The indie pic is fully financed and skedded to shoot on location in L.A. this July, and is likely to preem at Berlin next year.
Libertine prexy Tom Wright will produce.
Libertine retains all North American rights for the film, with Intandem's CEO Gary Smith serving as consultant on the negotiations.
Smith said: "Libertine Films has a diverse slate of films and we look forward to developing a long and successful collaboration with them."
Jules Stewart, who is repped by ICM's Joanne Wiles, formed Libertine with Wright after working for many years as a script supervisor."

Bryce Dallas Howard to become a Director

Showbiz 411 is reporting this morning that the project written by Bryce Dallas Howard that was rumored to be directed by her father, Ron Howard, will in fact be directed by her!

"The film, called “The Originals,” was written with her writing partner Dane Charbonneau. Previous reports suggested Ron might direct the film but they were inaccurate.

Bryce told me: “It’s like a “Breakfast Club” for my generation.” Bryce turns 30 next week, so she’ll be inviting some actors her age to be in the film which, of course, will be distributed by Imagine/Universal. Any actors in mind? “So far, I wrote a part for Zoe Saldana. But there are so many good choices out there.” Bryce is not giving up acting. She’s in the “Twilight” film series, but keep an eye out for her in “The Help” coming in April. The buzz is very strong."

Looks like someone is following in daddies shoes!
