A few weeks ago, it was announced that the now-Oscar-nominated Anna Kendrick ("Jessica Stanley" in The Twilight Saga: New Moon and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse) was added to the cast of the dramatic comedy I'm With Cancer (co-starring Seth Rogan and James McAvoy).
Since then, Bryce Dallas Howard ("Victoria" in Eclipse) was apparently added to the cast, and, most recently, Twilight film studio Summit Entertainment acquired the distribution rights to the film.
According to The Wrap, "'It's rare to find a script that has you laughing and crying in equal measure or a cast and director as perfectly suited to get the tone of this unique and moving film as perfectly right,' Erik Feig, Summit's president of production, said in a statement."
It doesn't hurt, either, that the film has the critically acclaimed Kendrick in it as a great portion of the film community is watching where she goes from Up In The Air (after Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World releases, that is).
Filming for the project will reportedly begin in February in Vancouver, British Columbia.
This will be yet another example of the studio working with the cast on non-Twilight films (Robert Pattinson's Remember Me and Taylor Lautner's Cancun being two other examples).

I really really really REALLY want Anna Kendrick to have nothing to do with Summit.
Even though she's still kind of in the Twilight movies... I want her to move on from this company and go to BIGGER, BRIGHTER, and BETTER things.
But this movie sounds interesting from the synopsis... it's just the Summit name is kind of ruins the appeal. Since SUMMIT ENT is pretty much connected to twilight.
I don't think that's true at all, 6.15PM Anonymous. I think her much-celebrated role in Up in the Air was enough to show she doesn't need Twilight, or Summit, to succeed.
Summit are an up-and-coming studio, they deserve to be known for more than just the Twilight films.
