Variety reported last night that Summit was tempted to go the "two-film route" when deciding how to bring Breaking Dawn to the big screen.
Uh, darlings, such old news, really. Summit is more than tempted. Making B.D. two movies is the game plan as of now.
The fourth flick has been in the works for a while. After ensuring that the main cast would be back for Twilight 4, Summit asked Melissa Rosenberg to pen the script for B.D. in September, to which she obviously agreed.
Once execs realized Twilight fever wasn't dying down anytime soon, they decided to swipe a move from Harry Potter: Why Not Make It Two Scripts? It's an idea that's been going back and forth over at Summit for a while.
So will the suits ever officially announce this so we can stop having to reassure all you Twi lovers that Robsten will be in it for the long haul—onscreen, too?
Says Deep Twi:
"Nothing official yet, but knowing Summit [the announcement] will be soon with the giant success of New Moon. Why would they not stretch it out and make as much money as possible from this franchise?"
As to Robsten's future in all this?
"They are so on board, still," promises another member of Team Deep Twi. "But the money has to be right. If it is, it'll happen—especially now that [Rob and Kristen] are learning better how to handle the press."
Uh, not sure I agree with that last statement. As it's the press who seem to be learning how better to handle Robsten, if you ask us.
Even though the main Twilight players only agreed to a fourth movie, they will be down for a fifth. Not just because Summit basically owns their asses and they wouldn't totally have a choice, but because it's pretty much guaranteed Robert, Kristen and Taylor Lautner will be getting a big pay raise.
Like one of our Summit insiders told us a while back, they just tell Robsten & Co. to count their millions when they get fame frustrated.
Getting New Moon director Chris Weitz back would probably be the biggest obstacle. Remember, Summit and the cast l-o-v-e-d him, and they all want him to direct again. Chris told us he'd be stupid not to do Breaking Dawn(s), but he wants to take a break from directing for a bit, and Summit wants to peddle these bad boys out as fast as possible 'cause the cast can't keep their fangs off each other.

Biggest Headline of 2009: Are Rob and Kristen Dating?
It's December, which means it's time for PopSugar Network's Best of 2009 coverage! Along with polls and slideshows, we'll be bringing you PopSugar's biggest headlines of the year.
It was the biggest are-they-or-aren't they question of the year — are Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart dating in real life? In the run-up to New Moon's release, it seemed like everyone was speculating about whether or not Kristen and Rob acted like Bella Swan and Edward Cullen offscreen. We got to see Robert and Kristen as they wrapped up promotion of Twilight earlier this year and as they headed to Vancouver to film New Moon in the Spring. During breaks from the set, the duo shared nights out together and even shared cab rides home. They were soon off to Italy, where it was time to film their passionate scene with a hot shirtless Rob. Once that movie wrapped, it was time to make the awards show rounds for Twilight. Robert and Kristen made a memorable appearance at the MTV Movie Awards, where they showed off their obvious chemistry while accepting the Best Kiss honor before evidently spending that night together.
The duo split up for a good chunk of the Summer, as she stayed in LA to work on The Runaways and Robert headed east to film Remember Me. They reunited at Comic Con before the Teen Choice Awards and the VMAs, where they looked too cute together backstage. Soon they were off to Vancouver for Eclipse, kicking things off with a Kings of Leon show before filming began — Robert and Kristen also raised a few eyebrows by looking extremely close throughout the show. The work never stopped for Robert and Kristen because after finishing up on Eclipse they were off to promote New Moon with cozy-looking stops across the globe. Soon, everyone from Jennie Garth to Catherine Hardwicke were weighing in on their situation. The evening Robert and Kristen were spotted holding hands at Heathrow didn't do much to cool speculation that the duo was together — and, conveniently, all the wondering likely helped make their film a hit. Robert and Kristen don't seem to be leaving each other's sides anytime soon, as they were just spotted arriving at LAX together before Thanksgiving.
What New Moon Means For Hollywood
The Twilight Saga: New Moon opened with $142M its first weekend, earned over $230M in less than two weeks ($473M, if you count the global box office), and broke records previously held by male-oriented tent pole releases like The Dark Knight (in Single Day Sales). So now that other studios have taken note of the vampire saga as a legit and bankable franchise and not a one-off fluke, how could New Moon change Hollywood?
That's a question pundits have been asking since New Moon's numbers started rolling in two weekends ago, indicating that the sequel had bigger potential than anticipated. By opening day, it had already topped the entire opening weekend take of the first film ($72M over $69.6M a year ago). By yesterday, the LA Times had deemed success a "problem" for Summit Entertainment, a studio whose stock has risen as fast as the quickening pulses of a theater full of tweeners and Twilight Moms watching Taylor Lautner take off his shirt.
So how could the increasing successes of Twilight and New Moon affect how movies are made and sold? We consider what New Moon's popularity could mean for Hollywood.
Female audiences demand to be catered to.
Twilight was always a female-oriented property, thanks to a high quotient of moony eyes, forbidden love, and romantic longing courtesy of author Stephenie Meyer. And studio execs perked up when the fantasy book-turned-indie film raked in over $69M its opening weekend, making back its budget by double. But as evidenced by worldwide masses of screaming fans, a sprawling fansite community, and its blockbuster box office performance, New Moon is no accidental success – women will buy tickets, they will go multiple times to the movies, and they will bring their friends/daughters/mothers. And they'll even go to horror-themed movies – that is, if the movie gives them what they want. (See below.)
Summit is now a studio model.
From the start, Summit Entertainment did the best job it could have done to spin itself a mega franchise out of an otherwise unnoticeable vampire love story. Now, it's a major player with a diverse upcoming slate that includes another Robert Pattinson vehicle and a smattering of rom-coms and family flicks. While Summit may not make a smash hit out of every film (their 2008 horror pic Sorority Row was a modest financial success, but barely) they will use the enormous profits from New Moon to build the studio and finance its expansion, moving from a tiny studio that specialized in obscure genre pics (remember P2?) to a mainstream distributor with the power to slot a vampire movie next to a sci-fi actioner (Knowing) and a potential Oscar picture (The Hurt Locker).
And how'd they do it? The New Moon campaign benefited as much from the public's obsession with its "are they or aren't they?" on-screen couple (AKA Robsten) as it did from the deliberate releases of new clips and photos from the film, which became events in themselves. Summit also took note of and worked with the fansite community, rewarding their footwork with all-important access and ensuring that their built-in audience stayed interested.
Moms are getting in on the action.
The majority of women ticket buyers older than 25, and that means older women are devouring a movie about werewolves and vampires. (Of course they're going for the romance, but still.) You see, we ladies want movies about more than female drama and shopping - I'm looking at you, Sex and the City – and we're interested in fantasy and science fiction and yes, even horror. A healthy helping of romance never hurts, either. If we like what we see in a genre film, we'll get behind a franchise, a fact not lost on the team behind James Cameron's Avatar, a science-fiction epic that 20th Century Fox hopes will capture the elusive, important female demographic.
Huffington Post writer Danny Groner has another explanation: thanks to New Moon, mothers and older women are learning to explore beyond their age group, indulging in teen-oriented fare like Twilight to re-capture their youth. Hence, the rise of the self-proclaimed "cougar," Twilight Moms, and the reason you'll see so many middle-aged women at any given screening of New Moon.

Kellan Lutz Rescues Abandoned Pooch
Always a caregiver, Kellan Lutz has decided to let a little fellow into his life.
The “Twilight” actor found a stray dog abandoned on the street near his house and took the lucky pup into his home. “I just adopted a new dog, Kevin,” Lutz explained.
The 24-year-old just couldn’t say no and had to help him out. “I found a stray on the street. He’s like a little Chihuahua that all the neighbors were into. I don’t know why, but he just lay on the street and acted dead and all these cars drove around him.”
And Kevin even gets to meet the family. “I’m going home to Arizona, which I only get to do once a year. So I’m taking him to Arizona, too.”

Robert Pattinson on Fame: "I'm Pretty Much Exactly the Same"
'New Moon' star also contemplates a fight with Taylor Lautner and separating on- and offscreen romance.
As we enter December, "New Moon" is still riding high at the box office. And although it's a few weeks until Christmas, that doesn't mean "Twilight" fans aren't already dreaming of finding RPattz under their tree.
Well, we're always willing to start the party a bit early. Today, we present the final installment of an MTV Radio interview with Robert Pattinson, following up on his thoughts about romance and Taylor Lautner's transformation. Read on for candy-cane-flavored as Spunk Ransom talks fame, fighting Lautner and the danger of romancing a leading lady.
MTV: How are you dealing with the franchise's explosion into a full-blown phenomenon?
Robert Pattinson: I guess it's inevitable that you become more comfortable. You still fight against some things, but there's nothing really scary about it. I like all the people I work with. I generally have very few disagreements about the script or anything when we're doing it, especially on "New Moon." It just seemed so relaxed and easy. I mean, I've been on three different sets since January 14th. I've had, like, three days off. [So when people ask me,] "Has your life changed?" I don't know. I'm still on set. I'm going to be on set all next year as well. As for [running] errands and things, I don't know what that really is like, because I haven't had a sustained period of time where I've been off. ... I still feel like I'm pretty much exactly the same, which is maybe not a good thing.
MTV: Tell us about what was going through your mind during the pivotal scene where you break up with Bella.
Pattinson: It's strange, but something weird about it [is that I was helped by] people's anticipation of the movie and fans' idea of what Bella and Edward's relationship is, what it represents to them. Playing a scene where you're breaking up the ideal relationship, I felt a lot of the weight behind that, and also it took away your fear of melodrama as well. It felt seismic, if that's the right word, even when we were doing it. It was very much like [shooting the Italy] scene at the end [of the movie]. You can really feel the audience watching as you're doing it.
MTV: What personality traits do you share with Edward?
Pattinson: I guess stubbornness, in some ways about some things. He's pretty self-righteous too. And I guess I get quite obsessive about things — possessive as well, I think.
MTV: What are you obsessive about?
Pattinson: Well, I do have very, very specific ideas about how I want to do my work and how I want to be perceived — to the point of ridiculousness, sometimes. I don't listen to anyone else. That's why I don't have a publicist or anything. I can't stand it if someone is trying to tell me to do something, which is maybe a mistake sometimes. But I like being meticulous, and it's quite difficult as an actor to have that much control.
MTV: And how does the "Twilight" saga fit into that meticulousness?
Pattinson: Well, that's a good thing about the "Twilight" series. It does give you a lot more control over tiddly little things, which I want to have. I'm a control freak about it.
MTV: In a no-holds-barred fight between yourself and Taylor Lautner, who wins?
Pattinson: I don't know. I did hear the other day that Taylor had agreed to an interview where the interviewer was going to fight him. I don't think I'd ever agree to that. Also, looking at Taylor's martial-arts videos from when he was, like, 9, I wouldn't really want to do anything [to make him angry]. Maybe if I had some kind of weapon. But if Edward and Jacob [fought], I think it's actually a fact that Edward would win — I think, if I read the books correctly. So I guess I could hold onto that for my ego.
MTV: Love plays such a major role in these films, and so many fans want what happens onscreen to happen in real life. How do you separate what happens in movies from real life with women you're casted opposite?
Pattinson: You've always got to remember that you're being paid and that there's a lot of connotations that come with that. I think that's one of the major separations. Yeah, I think so.
Adam Lambert Makes a Bid for "Eclipse" Soundtrack
'Suburban Decay' didn't make it onto his album,
but Lambert thinks it would fit the 'Twilight' sequel.
Dec 1 2009 6:51 AM EST
Adam Lambert's "Time for Miracles" has already been featured on the soundtrack for "2012." But the "American Idol" runner-up is already thinking about having a song accompany another potential blockbuster: "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse."
Lambert thinks "Suburban Decay," a track produced by Rob Cavallo that didn't make it onto For Your Entertainment, should find a new home on the June 2010 movie's soundtrack.
"It's a great song and I hope to perform it someday, and I think it will find a home, on a soundtrack or something ... maybe 'Twilight,' " he told MTV News. "It just didn't quite fit [in my album]. It's very theatrical. ... It's very campy, and it was just a bit too campy for the album as a big picture."
Although the vibe was all wrong for his album, it might be perfect to score the intensifying love triangle between Bella, Jacob and Edward. "Hey, 'Eclipse' ... Want my song? It's kind of about vampires," he offered, noting a verse about "bloodlust."
You can read the rest of the article at MTV.com.
What do you think about the possibility of having
Adam Lambert's music on the "Eclipse" Soundtrack?
Robert Pattinson's Stunt Double Talks (Too Much)!
Preston Johnson, 22, had just gotten out of class in Eugene when he got the call from a casting agency: “Do you still have long hair?” they asked. A couple weeks, hair length confirmation and multiple auditions later, the University of Oregon student was kickin’ it on the set of a small film called Twilight with actors Kristen Stewart (Bella), Robert Pattinson (Edward) and the rest of the vampy gang—paid around $150 a day to pile on pale make-up and fight off crazed fans and TwilightMoms as Pattinson’s photo/stunt double on the film’s Oregon set. As New Moon, the second film installment of the mega-popular book series, hits theaters and decimates box office records, Johnson looked back on his three months of filming as the other Edward.
WW: How did you first hear about the job? Did you have to audition?
Preston Johnson: Actually, it’s a weird story. I had been somewhat of a skating double for Gus Van Sant’s Paranoid Park and [the agency] must have saved my file. I had to do about 5 or 6 interviews. It was a pain in the ass because I was doing school in Eugene and was driving back and forth to audition. I almost dropped out of the running. But then they decided to use me as Robert’s stand-in. I just had to stand there while they tested lighting. But then I got talking to the director, and he liked me, so he promoted me to a photo double, where they shot me for crane work or behind-the-head-shots.
Had you ever read Twilight?
No, I still haven’t read the books! I’ve only read the scripts. I don’t even think Robert had read it when we were filming.
Had you heard about it?
No, no one knew about Twilight when we started working on it. No one knew it was going to be as big as it is today. It was a very calm set. There were no fans until the very end of the shoot. By the end there were teenage girls and the TwilightMoms. This bunch of moms would just sit around all day and take pictures. But even then, no one had any idea how big it was going to be. When it came out, I talked to Rob, and to be honest, I just don’t think he was ready for that kind of attention.
So you still talk to Robert?
He changed his phone number, but I can’t blame him for that. We talked for a little bit. I have Kristen’s number. I called her last month to say hi. But they have busy lives.
Is Kristen Stewart as big of a bitch as she seems?
The first week, it was kind of awkward. I felt like I had gotten to know her a little. But we were sitting together at lunch one day, just talking, and I said “Hey Kristen, how is filming going?” She blew up at me. “Preston! Don’t ask me how filming is going! I hate when people ask me that!” I got upset. Like, ‘oh sorry you’re the fucking star of the movie Kristen, my bad for asking you how it was going.’
Do you think that they’re dating?
No, I don’t think so. There was no chemistry on set. Robert… I just don’t think Kristen is his type of style. He’s a really shy kid. I think he’s only had one girlfriend ever.
What was the best thing about being in Twilight?
Filming the stunts for the baseball scene in the first movie. I wasn’t even supposed to be in it. I was just sitting on set and got a call on the radio. “Preston! We need you in the jeep!” And they just threw me in the car with the Bella double and said “Gun it!” It was this narrow gravel road and I was going as fast as I could, fish tailing around turns. There was a lake on one side and a big drop on the other. I thought ‘If I make one wrong move, we’re totaling this car,’ but all I could hear was the director through the radio yelling “Faster, faster!”

Kellan Parties Solo
Kellan Lutz may play vampire Emmett Cullen in Twilight, but the actor's so obviously not the undead—proven by this weekend's vacation in South Beach, land of eternal sunshine.
The New Moon star was in town for last night's unveiling of the new Audi A8 at the Fontainebleau hotel, where Christina Ricci, Chris Noth and Ben McKenzie were also spotted having fun.
And you know how Kellan swears he's single despite getting snapped making out with maybe-girlfriend AnnaLynne McCord last month (and spending last New Year's Eve with her in South Beach)?
Well, he certainly seemed single this time...
The actor was spotted partying at Set late Sunday night. He had a corner table where he was joined by his friends and two brunette babes who kept him company throughout the night.
The group did shots and Kellan was spotted smoking a cigarette at one point...which is surprising, considering how health-conscious he seems when working out shirtless.
Kellan and his crew partied late into the night and were still going strong at 3 a.m.
And it seems the actor doesn't take himself too seriously. He high-fived one partyer who told him she's never seen either of the Twilight movies.
"I don't get it," he confessed of the hype. But then the girl added she didn't get what all the fuss about his costar Robert Pattinson is.
"He's a really nice guy," Kellan quickly added.
Way to stick up for your onscreen brother!

Can you correctly spot the product placement in New Moon?
Most fans are aware of the Burger King promotion attached to the movie New Moon and couldn’t miss the obvious product placement of the blue Burger King bag perched atop the trash can in the movie theater scene.
Less obvious, however, was the fact that the actual product- a Burger King Burger Shot, the same used in the current promotion, is in the scene as well.
The website, Twilight Moonlighter, is offering a $10 Burger King gift card to the first four fans who can correctly identify where the burger (not the bag) is located in the scene. Head over there to find out more details.
And, to clarify the actual Burger King promotion, which does NOT involve mini-sized Edward and Jacob dolls nestled in the bottom of a kid’s meal box:
Purchase a 6 pack of BK Burger Shots Value Meal and receive a fan pack including New Moon collectible cards and exclusive offers for New Moon merchandise.
Have you indulged in the corporate product promotion for yourself….. or for your kids? How many of you own the BK New Moon crowns?
I've seen the movie three times and never noticed any Burger King stuff...guess I'm not very observant. :)
Remember Me Official Poster!
Here is the official poster for Rob's upcoming film, Remember Me. Aw, it looks cute!
Where is our Breaking Dawn announcement?!
Summit has to know how crazy Twi fans can get. Being made fun of by the rest of the world for our love of mythical creatures and guys who sparkle makes us a little looney. Hell, Twilighters can't even get along with eachother! So why Summit is allowing us to stew over the potential of Breaking Dawn is beyond me.
Variety's Mike Fleming weighs in:
“Sources said Summit has so far only gone as far as setting scribe Melissa Rosenberg–who wrote the first three films–to finish the series, but Summit has to clear several hurdles before telling Rosenberg if she should write one scripts or two.
Among those hurdles is figuring out whether “New Moon” director Chris Weitz will respond favorably to overtures from the film company and the cast to return and shoot two more films, back to back.
Summit execs would not comment, but multiple sources said that the film company wants to go the two-film route, which means re-opening negotiations and getting approval from the author. It also means making new deals with a principal cast that is only locked up for four films. If “Breaking Dawn” becomes two pictures, all of the key cast members will get fat raises, and the three principals—Rob Pattinson, Kristin Stewart and Taylor Lautner—could land eight-figure paydays. ”
You can read the rest of this article HERE and apparently find out who the "insider" is HERE.
Also, I heard tell on Twitter last night (and let's face it, Twitter is to Twilighters what the Wall Street Journal is to...well, Wall Street) that Peter Facinelli has future plans to be in Vancity. According to Twilight Lexicon, this is in fact true and you can read more about that HERE at Malicous Mandy's blog. (PS- Love ya Mandy. So hooking up if and when BD starts filming)
OK, I'm off to take thek kiddos to a play date.

English Translation by Isabelle:
Rosalie Hale
The beautiful
Rochester, New York, 1933. Rosalie Lilian Hale was 18 years old. She was blonde, magnificent and admired by all. Her father's career, working in a bank, was blooming and he was giving his family a life more than comfortable. Rosalie, having been raised in a materialistic environment, imagined her future in an huge house with elegant furniture that others would take care of.
She met Royce King, rich and handsome son of the owner of the bank where her father worked and got engaged quickly. Rosalie was drowning in happiness since she could soon live the same joys as her friend Veira who got married a year earlier and had just given birth to her first child.
Unfortunately, a few days before the huge wedding of Rosalie and Royce, she was attacked in an alley and left for dead. Carlisle who was coming home from the hospital where he worked, found Rosalie and couldn't bear to leave her there.
She was transformed as a vampire by Carlisle who thought of her as a companion for Edward but their relationship never blossomed that way.
Then, one day in 1935, as she was hunting in the mountains of Tenessee, Rosalie defended a man who was being attacked by a bear. That man was Emmett...
Jasper Hale
A carnivore in his soul
It was at the age of 17, in 1861, that Jasper Whitlock enroled himself in the Confederate Army. With a charisma out of the ordinary, he was rapidly promoted as one of the youngest majors in Texas.
One night in 1863, as he was finishing an evacuation, he met three women vampires. Their porcelain skin and their amazing beauty amazed Jasper who didn't know anything of their true nature.
Thinking of all the potential he represented, the three women decided to transform him. One of the women, Maria, already had his destiny all traced.
Being a vampire, Jasper would build her an army of newborn vampires, which he did for a long time. While raising the army, he would let himself go to his deepest instincts and drinking human blood.
In 1948, he met the one that would change his life. Alice was the one that he had always searched for and he followed her willingly to the Cullens when she took him there.
His likeness with Rosalie permits him to pass as her twin. Even though he is very attached to his family, Jasper is the one who has the most problems with the Cullens' way of life. To this day, he avoids being too close to humans.
Page 2
Jasper Hale
Playing with emotions
With an uncommon charm when human, Jasper became a vampire with the ability to influence the emotions of others around him which proved to be a useful power when encountered with a stressfull situation. The people around him become all at once relaxed and happy.
Aro
Reading minds
Like Edward, Aro can read thoughts. But unlike Edward, who reads present thoughts, Aro can read every thought a person ever had in their life with a simple touch which gives him a net advantage on anyone he encounters. Anyone...except Bella!
Alec
Paralysing the senses
If a dark fog advances slowly like a snake towards an adversary, Alec is the cause. Precious guard of the Volturi, he has the power to deprieve his victim of their senses. Deaf, mute and paralyzed, his victims are easily submitted whatever their powers are. Alec's fog is greeted by an invisible wall when he encounters Bella.
Marcus
Measuring loyalty
Able to detect the tie that binds two beings, Marcus used his gift to know the degree of fidelity between members of a coven. It is because of his gift that he notices the exceptional tie that binds Edward and Bella. It is also the cause of the intense curiosity of the Volturi towards the two lovers.
Bella Swan
Power shield
Even though she is a simple mortal without any powers, Bella is an exception for all vampires. Resisting most of their powers, she becomes a fascination for them. Unable to penetrate her mind, the vampires ask themselves questions about her. No other human ever resisted them. How is she able to?
Page 3 (top)
Filming the birthday scene was real composition work for some actors. That was the case for Jackson Rathborne (Jasper Cullen) who had to transform himself as a blood thirsty predator in one second. Kellan Lutz (Emmett Cullen) was very impressed by the work of his colleague. "It's fun to work with your friends and see sides of them you didn't know." Says Lutz. "Jackson did amazing work in that scene and it was fun that my character was trying to stop him."
(bottom right)
Self derision of Pattinson
Asked about Robert Pattinson's success, director Chris Weitz goes with his own theory. "I think the hysteria he provokes goes beyond what is caused by the other actors, especially because of what Edward represents. He plays the role of perfection never achieved. It's not surprising he causes hysteria. Fortunately, Rob is very self derisive so he gets away from that unscathered."

The one who wants to kill Bella
"It's nothing personal I can assure you Bella. You are simply mouth watering." That little phrase by the terrifying and cold Laurent (Edi Gathegi) has everything to scare Bella. The actor actually had a lot of fun while filming the scene. "It was nice to sink my teeth more into my character. I think it was absolutely great!" When asked if it was hard to try to kill sweet Bella, he answers. "I go deep into my character to the point where I don't care if you're sweet. If the character asks for a particular emotion, it'll be delivered."
MERCI BEAUCOUP ISABELLE!!!
