Robert Pattinson Can’t Escape!

Robert Pattinson admits his superstar status can be pain — because he can never let his guard down.
The British actor — who shot to fame in the Twilight movie franchise — says he has to be “super vigilant” in case someone is filming him or recording what he’s saying.
“I don’t feel like I’ve changed,” Pattinson, 23, told a French magazine. “The most embarrassing is when friends ask you to meet up with them and you have to tell them, ‘Sorry I can’t go to that place’ because you’re fully aware photographers will be waiting for you there.
“I feel like such weasel when things like that happen, like the world has to revolve around me. I have to look over my shoulder all the time, be super vigilant because at any moment, someone could be filming or recording what I’m saying.
“It makes me feel like working non-stop: at least, on sets, the level of security gives me a bit of privacy. It’s a relief.”
“I haven’t found one place in the world yet where I could disappear,” he added. “Even the most remote places I can imagine someone will ask me for a picture with them or an autograph. Honestly, I didn’t think that I would be recognized so easily.
Jackson Rathbone Talks Jasper in Eclipse
Posted today on MTV.com:
'It's an interesting time to see when Jasper was actually human and what his
human form was,' actor says.
DALLAS — We don't need to have our emotions influenced to know that Jasper
Hale Whitlock is one of Stephenie Meyer's greatest creations. A 166-year-old
Civil War veteran whose transformation and redemption is a key theme in the
later "Twilight" novels, the character has long been a fan favorite. Which made
it all the more appropriate when the franchise landed Jackson Rathbone, a 24-year-old actor/musician whose affable, easygoing charm has made him equally popular in Twilight Nation.
Recently, we caught up with Jackson as he was preparing to begin work on "Eclipse," the currently filming third chapter in the blockbuster saga. What follows are some major plot revelations from the next two films — including his fight scene with Kellan
Lutz, exposing Japer's powers earlier than you might think and how to kill one
of David Slade's newborn vampires.
MTV: Jackson, what are you most looking forward to shooting in the next film?
Jackson Rathbone: I'm really excited to start filming "Eclipse." I got a
chance to read the script, and we get to go back into Jasper's backstory. They
actually had to ask me about my equestrian experience. I told them I can gallop
and trot and all that. I used to ride. It's been two or three years since I've
been on a horse, but I'm excited to get back up on the saddle.
MTV: So we're going to get to Jasper's Civil War backstory?
Rathbone: Yes, I get to shoot some Civil War stuff, and I'm also going to shoot a lot of fighting scenes. Which is great, because I just came off [M. Night Shyamalan's] "The Last Airbender," and I've been doing fighting for the last six months. So I'm ready to keep it on.
MTV: What kind of moves will you be pulling off? Just shooting guns? Obviously, it won't be highly-stylized martial arts stuff.
Rathbone: No, it won't be karate, it won't be kung fu, like the stuff we're doing in "Airbender." But even in "Airbender," the fighting styles I was doing were a little bit more loose, like street fighting. And that's kind of what this is; it's about evading.
MTV: Why is that?
Rathbone: Well, we're talking about newborn vampires that can't control their urges — they can't really think very quickly. So if you just let them go to their instincts and evade and attack them from side to side, you could get them; but if you try and go after them through force, they're going to win every time. So it's all about evasion.
MTV: Are there training scenes in "Eclipse" along these lines?
Rathbone: It's interesting; there's a lot of cool scenes where Jasper trains the Cullen family on how to fight the newborns. He gets to train Emmett — and Emmett is a born fighter — so he's telling Emmett all these techniques, and Emmett thinks he could just best Jasper [during their sparring]. Jasper ends up getting the best of him, because it's a war mentality, not just a street brawl. It's about thinking ahead; it's a chess game.
MTV: Cool. Will we see the scene where Jasper gets bitten?
Rathbone: Oh yeah, we have to see that. It's going to be great. I've been studying up a lot on the Civil War and that era. It really was a crazy time. It was all-out war on our own turf and between countrymen. That's terrible. It's an interesting time to
see when Jasper was actually human and what his human form was and, when he gets turned, how intense and how dark he is. Then [we'll see] his realization of what
he's become, him finding Alice and being redeemed by love.
MTV: And is that the first time we'll see your powers?
Rathbone: Actually, in "New Moon," we get a little glimpse. Inside the school.
MTV: How was it to film scenes where you were influencing the emotions of those around you?
Rathbone: It was fun. I just played it very naturally, like, if you have these special powers — like Edward has the ability to read minds — it's not like he's going to [get
overly dramatic] and go, "You're hungry!" No, it's a natural thing, like the human ability to smell or to hear is a natural ability. To affect the mental state of anyone around you [I depicted Jasper as] keeping it all right in the eyes. Just thinking it and transferring it through the eyes, which are the windows to the soul — even to the soulless.
MTV: And will it be clear to the audience that this emotion-manipulation is going on?
Rathbone: In "New Moon," when we see it? It's pretty obvious.

Fan Fun: What Do You Think Rob's Saying?
OK, so this pic is just way to cute! You just have to love the body language between all three of them. I just have to ask, what do you think they are sayin' to each other? Rob looks as if he could blush, Kristen sure has a big smile on her face, and Catherine looks as if she's calling them out! Have a little fun! Be as creative as you want and leave your version in the comments below!!!Is K.Stew's Ex Squeezing Into the Robsten Picture?

No pics have surfaced of M.A. up in the "Couv," but we would be hypocrites if we said we relied on photographic evidence to back up all our stories (we'd need to have all the Robert Pattinson-Kristen Stewart lovey-dovey shots then wouldn't we?). No, instead we prefer to trust Deep Twi among other legit, very well-placed sources.
Here's what they have to say:
"Kristen and Michael are not back together," insists one amiga close to the sitch. "They are friends and keep in touch occasionally, but there is nothing romantic going on."
Deep Twi also tells us there is no reason to believe the Vancouver rekindling. "He's out of the picture, and still is never mentioned anymore."
If you remember, there was a time when Michael was clearly the studio's preference in the battle for K.Stew, always urged to participate in convenient photo ops. Execs very much wanted Kristen with Michael, not that dreamy costar of hers, for reasons we've gone into too many times to rehash.
D.T. adds, "As far as I'm aware, Michael didn't fly up to see Kristen. And I used to hear about it when that would happen, or at least when he was invited."
Like we've said, Kristen and M.A. are dunzo. And they have been for a while. No need to stir the Robsten pot just because everything is mellow for once.
Fans win Twi-lotto!

Here's some lucky Twi hards out in Vancity getting pics for their blogs, twitters, fb, myspace or whatev their technology poison happens to be...have we mentioned yet that E and K will be there in a few weeks doing some set stalking of our very own? So we need your help! What do you want us to say to our fave stars? I'm totally planning on asking PFach if he is offended by the term "Resident DILF"...and if he says yeah then then I'll say, "Carlisle...what are my other options?" ummm i'm sorta kinda absolutely not totally 100% kidding...
What do you want to know the most from the Eclipse Cast? And please don't say, "Are Rob and Kristen hooking up?" cuz we consider that pretty obvi!
Thanks for the pic Twifans!

'Twilight: New Moon's Robert Pattinson mulls his newfound fame
We've heard from the werewolf and the human, and now finally the vampire is talking about "The Twilight Saga: New Moon."Robert Pattinson, who plays bloodsucker Edward Cullen, has kept a lower profile than co-stars Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner. He's finally coming forward... at least abroad.
Pattinson sat down with the French edition of Premiere to mostly talk about how he's coped with the "Twilight" series' rocket trip to superstardom. As is common with this new crop of sudden stars, the actor is uncomfortable and often unaware of his own fame.
"I was in a restaurant during a break [at Cannes], and when I came out two hours later, 500 people were waiting for me at the exit," he tells the magazine. "It was total chaos. I'm sure that if I told one of those girls 'come, let's go have breakfast,' she would have been totally embarrassed and would never scream my name again."
Though he glosses over rumors of a romantic relationship, Pattinson also says Stewart kept him grounded when the "Twilight" effect did get to him. Looks like she did a good job:
"I was getting really paranoid. If tomorrow I say 'OK, I've had enough we're stopping everything' it won't change anything. Might as well try to accept it and stay Zen as I have no control over it. It's not always easy. But whining won't change anything."

Kristen Stewart Ditches Mullet for Bella Wig
For her Joan Jett biopic, The Runaways, Kristen Stewart chopped off her hair for a ratty mullet and wandered around town all sad. But it's Twilight time again and Bella Swan doesn't do mullets, so bring in the wigs to restore K.Stew's flowing brunette locks.Only remember, these are the same people responsible for that thing they put on Taylor Lautner's head...
As you can see in the picture on the left, the Bella wig isn't the best—a bit too poofy on top, bad blending at the roots, and it makes her forehead square-ish.
Hope this isn't a deal breaker for Edward Cullen, but you never know with those fickle sparkle vampires who have perfect, all-natural hair.
As for Rob, though, we're sure he'll manage. After all, he seemed to deal with the mullet just fine.

Rob will not be in spy movie, 'Vauxhall Crossed'
Screenwriter/Producer Ben Trebilcook contacted us on Twitter to give the real information about Rob and the movie. He's not in it.According to him"Robert Pattinson is NOT in my movie"
"The web went crazy with Robert Pattinson news. Unsure of the source. If he wanted in, then OK, but it's NOT true."
"For a list of people who are involved see http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1086065/ Dannii Minogue's character is a good one but not a major role"
"Sorry to say I've never thought or knew about RP before the news of him & my film hit last night! I'd have 2 see Twilight 1st"
"Me and director Peter Pedrero going goggle-eyed at the Robert Pattinson rumours. That's a real stuntman face http://twitpic.com/g2sua"
Rob and Kristen helping the fashion industry
Suddenly alliances with barely legal age wizards, robot defenders and vampires are a key propriety for prestige labels eager to revamp their image, which have recruited young faces including Isabel Lucas, Kristen Stewart and Emma Watson to the cause.
Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, Rachael Taylor, Dakota Fanning, Megan Fox and their male contemporaries Daniel Radcliffe, Robert Pattinson and Shia Labeouf are among other prominent young actors whose twilight zone of tabloid gossip, red carpet appearances, magazine covers, great genes and designer jeans are creating a new frontier for fashion branding opportunities.
So influential have these tween and teen celebrities become that Forbes magazine published in March its list of “Hollywood’s Most Valuable Young Stars”.
Stewart, 19, who plays Twilight’s Bella Swan, created a publicity tsunami for Sydney label Camilla & Marc when she wore one of its dresses to the film’s Paris premiere in December last year.
“The biggest response we’ve received to a celebrity wearing our label so far was when Kristen Stewart wore our blue-and-white striped Marsha frock to the Paris premiere of Twilight,” Camilla & Marc designer Camilla Freeman-Topper says.“Pictures of her in the dress appeared on endless blogs and magazines, and it completely reignited demand for the dress. It was a powerful reminder of the power of celebrity, especially considering she was still relatively unknown at the time.”
Another Australian label, Billabong, has also experienced Stewart’s trend-setting abilities. The surfwear company’s US operations received sell-out orders there for its Hannah jacket after fans saw photographs of Stewart wearing it on the set of the Twilight sequel, The Twilight Saga: New Moon, scheduled for cinematic release in November.
Twilight also has inspired a clothing line sold through US up-market department store chain Nordstrom, an upcoming beauty franchise and a long list of magazine front covers for Stewart including US Teen Vogue, Nylon and Dazed & Confused.
In terms of designer luxury labels, however, new star Stewart and her on and offscreen paramour Pattinson have restricted their branding alliances solely to what they wear on the red carpet for events such as the MTV or Teen Choice Awards.
Twilight Medic on Hand for Fan Emergencies

Medics are on standby on the set of the Twilight movies, to help fans overcome by the sight of their idols.
The vampire franchise has whipped teenagers into a frenzy, particularly over hunky stars Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner.
And Lautner admits some devotees can't control their emotions.
He tells Interview magazine, "We've met many different fans: the criers, who come around quite often; the hyperventilators, who stop breathing and have to have a medic come. We've definitely seen some passion."

Twilight tour: No Robert Pattinson, but New Moon and Eclipse aplenty
To understand just how Twilight-obsessed Stephanie Meiza is, you need only know this: She is 25, has three children under seven and two jobs, and is so taken by the vampire saga that “I almost got a divorce. And my husband hid the third book from me.”
Oh, and last weekend, she left the family behind in Colorado to fly to Vancouver and hit the streets looking for Edward Cullen.
“Meet at Blenz Coffee at 8:45 a.m. with your to-go mug, a camera and New Moon knowledge.”
With those orders from Christine Kilpatrick, we were off Saturday morning on a six-hour, 220-kilometre Metro Vancouver vampire hunt.
Kilpatrick is owner of Twilight Tours Vancouver is one busy operator these days, squiring fans about town in search of the bricks and mortar cinematic trail left in the wake of, among others, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, the young marquee actors who play Edward Cullen and Bella Swan, the dreamy-eyed star-crossed protagonists of Stephenie Meyer’s blockbuster Twilight series.
As young adult sensations go, Twilight is the top dog du jour, and Meyer is this generation’s Anne Rice, her ghoulish literary empire - Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn - having sold more than 40 million copies worldwide, with Twilight the movie earning boffo box office in 2008 and New Moon, shot in Vancouver earlier this year, expected to do the same with its release Nov. 20.
Now the whole gang is back in town for the next two months, shooting the series sequel Eclipse.
The tale is age-old: Edward is a vampire, Bella a mortal, and they are hopelessly entwined in a doomed yet everlasting love, enduring much tender bodice-ripping Romeo and Juliet tension as they battle outside forces along with their own demons.
If Meyer’s fertile literary imagination lit the Twilight fan fuse, and it did, it was the films - propelled by the brooding good looks of 23-year-old British actor Pattinson - that caused the pop culture explosion that is Twilight today.
The whole thing, at least on the big screen, takes place right here in our own backyard, our dark rainy B.C. days and our lush damp verdancy the perfect stand-in for a teen thriller romance about blood and lust in small-town Forks, Wash.
Four Twi-hards - who’ve paid $139 each for the chance to be touched by magic movie dust - have joined Kilpatrick and myself on the Twilight trail.
There’s Karen Hadac, 46, and her 14-year-old daughter Robin from Seattle, along with Johnstown, Colo., best buddies Stephanie Meiza and Stephanie Hildreth, a 24-year-old newbie Twi-hard doing her best to support her crazed friend.
Kilpatrick, a mother of teens and a freelance journalist, is a veritable fount of Twi-knowledge, having visited the sets and worked the phone and the Internet and her close network of local contacts so well these past months that her impressive whirlwind tour of Twilight landmarks and locations takes us from Yaletown to the British Properties, south Vancouver, Burnaby, New Westminster, Coquitlam, Langley, Surrey and back to Yaletown.
She’s been doing this tour pretty much every day since June, enthralling fans from as far away as Spain, South Africa, Japan, Scotland, Australia and the Czech Republic with her behind-the-scenes stories, photo albums of the stars and the sets, and her intimate detail of all things vampiral.

'Twilight In Forks' EXCLUSIVE: See The Documentary's Trailer Now!
Shot entirely in HD to capture the picturesque (and slightly mystical) quality of the town and its surrounding environs, "Twilight in Forks" delves in to the Quileute tribe, visits Forks High School and talks with townsfolk affected by the hugely successful film (like the person getting vampire teeth implants!). Director Jason Brown also said to be on the lookout for a real-life Bella and Alice.
"One of the things that you'll see in the film is how vampires actually relate to Forks, and whether there's some truth to the characters that you're familiar with," Brown explained. "This teaser gives you a glimpse at that."
So without further ado, sink your teeth in to the "Twilight in Forks" trailer above tell us what you think in the comments section below.
Are you excited to see "Twilight in Forks"?
Wolf Pack Stars Dish Out ‘New Moon’ Secrets
“New Moon,” the sequel to last year’s extremely successful “Twilight,” drops on November 20. Aside from the gorgeous Cullens, fans also know to expect new faces in the film, like the Volturi we were telling you about the other day and the Wolf Pack, the Quileutes, who protect the town from the vampires. Three of the young stars playing the wolves sat down with MTV at the recent Twilight convention and dished plenty of details on the upcoming vampire flick.Of them, Alex Meraz was the most talkative, especially when it came to revealing the details of an incident he had with female lead Kristen Stewart. Caught up in the moment – Meraz plays the tempered, highly volatile and always-suspicious wolf Paul –, the actor got carried away and actually became aggressive towards Stewart in the scene in which Jacob (Taylor Lautner) introduced her to his new, extended “family." He’s not sorry, though, Meraz says, although he was very embarrassed at the moment.
“I decided, all right, the Wolf Pack stay up all night looking for who’s killing people on the res, so we don’t sleep very much. So I thought it would be a great idea if I stayed up for 10 days straight.” Alex tells MTV. He started thinking of his scene as his “Brando moment” and overplayed it, screaming his lines and even grabbing Stewart by the throat at one point. “[Director] Chris Weitz comes off-set like, ‘Yeah, I like the energy Alex, but just take it down a little.’ Meanwhile the producers are freaking out back there. ‘Cause nobody touches Kristen Stewart.” the actor further explains.
However, not all was jokes and laughter on the set of “New Moon,” the trio adds. For Spencer, preparing for the role of pack leader Sam meant doing a lot of reading and watching many documentaries with army generals. Meraz had some issues when phasing into a wolf, until director Chris Weitz told them all to think of a “pop like popcorn” for all shapeshifting scenes, which means the actors only had to shudder a bit until the CGI team took over. Meraz and Spencer even did some of their own stunts, including the cliff-diving scene of which they are extremely proud.
What they learned from the “Twilight” experience is, as Alex puts it, never to pay attention to the media (and the blogs), while keeping in mind they’re doing this for the fans. “For the first two weeks, when it came out I was in the Wolf Pack, I did it [read blogs]. I was in my trailer [saying], ‘People like me! People like me!’” the actor explains. Within weeks, he realized the negative comments would come no matter what he did and, most importantly, he came to know they bothered him a lot. “By Googling myself, I’m not going to find anything I like. I’m arguing with an 8-year-old!” the star says about his determination to stay away from the Internet for as long as he can.
Twilight Hook-Ups Credited To Fans

In a recent interview with “Twilight” heartthrob Taylor Lautner, Tay revealed cryptic messages about what inspires “Twilight” hook-ups. He refused to comment directly on any potential romance between Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, or even between him and Disney Channel sensation, Selena Gomez. While he avoided direct answers, he did say, “It's crazy, but the fans help. They're a big part of the motivation."
