Sirs,
Congratulations on the huge success of Twilight and the soon to be released New Moon, which we expect will do as well if not better than the first film of the series. Media interest in the film and the cast is high, sadly in some cases unhealthily so.
We've seen, with a great deal of dismay, the paparazzi and fan gauntlet that the two leads of your films, Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, are obliged to run every time they choose to go somewhere and when they come back to their hotel. While we understand this is the price of fame, we'd like to point out that the safety of your stars might be better ensured if:
They have personal driver(s) and car(s) at their disposition when they choose to go out. It's surprising that the lives and safety of any of the cast is being entrusted to unknown taxi drivers over whose car maintenance your company has no control. We suspect that they might appreciate the privacy that blacked out windows would afford as well. Not to mention the decoy possibilities...

I signed. It's ridiculous that they have no security around them. I know they want normal lives, go out with friends and just walk around but it's now impossible.
ReplyDeleteI agree isabella 29 I signed it. please help support cast of twilight . If your a real fan give them space . I hope papz get a life and stalk the stars that want attention from you losers.Give them a chance to be normal. Please allow our stars that we all love to get to take walk, go out to eat. They are people just like everyone else.
ReplyDeleteThe expression on Rob's face on the photos from over the weekend literally makes my stomach hurt. I miss his smile. I signed the petition. Hopefully, it will help. It certainly can't hurt. Thanks for the link.
ReplyDeletei would fucking say to make a petition to Twitter to moderate Rob Kris tweets and them being posted with 6 hours of delay. I mean it requires one person to not contain their excitement and tweet R/K here and there and all hell goes loose.
ReplyDeleteI signed the petition, but dont think Summit can/will make much about it. It all instant internet access and Twitter being the unfailable stalking/hunting/tracking technology.
I will sign :-)
ReplyDeletesigned it.
ReplyDeletesighed it.
ReplyDelete@ Agata I agree 100%!!
ReplyDeleteI'm all for signing it but where it says "...have personal driver(s) and car(s) at their disposition..." it should probably read "disposal" not "disposition" because disposition is about a person's nature or personality, whereas disposal means for their use. I'm not trying to be picky, I just think that it's important that when you're trying to be taken seriously by what I'm assuming are powerful, educated people, you have to make sure they can't dismiss you and this kind of error makes that easier for them. Having said that, I think it's fantastic that we have such passionate fans who are intelligent enough to know when enough is enough and take it upon themselves to make this kind of stand. The person who wrote it should be proud of themselves, they've done a great job.
ReplyDeletesigned.
